Our Commitment
We are committed to safe and age-appropriate online experiences for children in both offline and online environments. Legislations like the age appropriate design code (AADC) are a step in the right direction, forcing social media, gaming, advertising and restricted retail to identify minors, beyond just self-declaration of age. Our patent pending technology can perform automated dynamic realtime age estimation from images and voice while preserving user data privacy. We are consistently improving our service both in terms of performance and cost effectiveness. We can integrate into both online and offline business data flows to help businesses deliver age appropriate user experiences.
Deepak founded Privately SA in 2014, after two decades in telecom and high tech. He has since led the march at Privately in its quest to make the internet safe for minors. In recognition of the social impact of his work, Deepak was awarded Doctor of Letters Honoris Cause by IUG in 2017.
Mathieu is an EPFL graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science. He gained experience in Machine Learning at Microsoft and during his Master's thesis working on Deep Learning and NLP. Mathieu has been instrumental in delivering key customer projects and guiding development at Privately.
Onur's primary career objective is to promote creativity and a data-driven culture. Before joining Privately, he delivered end-to-end machine learning solutions in a diversity of domains (e-Health, SportTech, robotics, cryptocurrencies, wealth management, and commodity trading to name a few)
Ankush holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UZH. He has several years of experience in implementing innovative solutions to solve business problems. Deep Learning and Computer Vision are his areas of expertise.
Ahmet received his bachelor’s in Computer Science from Bilkent University, Turkey. Prior to joining Privately, he worked 5 years in the Insurance tech industry as a Senior Software Consultant. His main interests are Software Architecture and Agile Software Development.
Nicolas holds a Master of Science from EPFL and brings over 25 years of international experience across a broad range of industries and technologies. Over the past decade, his work has included areas such as identity and access management, regulated online gambling, and blockchain-based gaming with NFTs. As a digital product and project manager, he supports the development and delivery of digital products with a focus on customer needs, viable business models, compliant governance, and operational efficiency.
Dominic holds a BSc in Artificial Intelligence from De Montfort University. Prior to Privately, he spent several years at CERN developing open-source software used by international bodies like UNOG and the WHO. An occasional CPython contributor and Python web specialist, Dominic brings deep engineering expertise to Privately's privacy-first technology stack.
Mateusz is a DevOps Engineer with around four years of experience in building and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure. Prior to his current role, he actively developed his backend engineering skills in Python and participated in multiple hackathons, where he gained hands-on experience solving real-world technical challenges. He specializes in AWS and focuses on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure reliability. His skill set includes Python and Bash scripting, as well as experience in networking and system monitoring. Mateusz is particularly driven by improving efficiency through automation, with a focus on eliminating repetitive and time-consuming processes. He is passionate about building stable, scalable systems and ensuring the reliability of infrastructure in production environments.
Ariel is the founding investor of Privately- an enterpreneur, investor and coach. He was the Chief Executive Officer of hybris GmbH until 2015 and the driving force behind the company’s expansion and eventual sale to SAP.
Alex runs global operations at Releigh Learning, a Bertlesmann company. He is equally dexterous with deep technology as he is with business issues.
Gilles is the VP of Business Development at Kudelski. He has been associated with the Secret.li project since its inception and has contributed to the incubation and spin off of this project.
Dr Richard Graham is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and former Clinical Director of the world renowned Tavistock Clinic. For the last decade he has specialised in e-safety, digital health and technology, setting up the UK’s first Technology Addiction Service.
Former Chairman of Merrill Lynch (EMEA) and Court Member of the Bank of England, Bob now backs growth businesses and young entrepreneurs. Bob chairs UK Finance, and is a Founder Commissioner of the Blockchain Commission for Sustainable Development at the UN.
