How does it work?

01 Shopper scans item

The shopper scans an age-restricted item at the self-checkout, automatically triggering a QR-code to be shown on the screen.

02 Age check

The shopper scans the QR-code using their smartphone. This will open a browser page where they do a quick face scan or ID scan using their smartphone’s camera.

03 Continue check-out

The results are automatically send back to the PoS. If they are above age the check-out continues, if not a system or manual ID check can be prompted.
